Welcome to ∞APEIROPHORIA∞, my website dedicated to exploring magic, witchcraft, polytheism and the occult, as well as the various subtopics therein, creating an accessible vault for research and knowledge — AKA, a place for me to infodump. This website will include (hopefully) comprehensive and comprehensible explanations of these concepts, alongside my own personal thoughts and ideas regarding them and their applications; as well as summaries and reviews of books and articles that I've read on these subjects.
My goal with this website is to provide its readers with a foundation, rather than a formula, to begin building their own practice. I believe that everybody has their own approach, based in their unique perspectives and lived experiences, and that it would be unwise to attempt to prescribe a singular narrow path to success— there is no one right way for everyone. The only doctrine here is to do what works for you. My approach is intended to be syncretic, eclectic, and above all else, fun— because not everybody comes to these websites to read someone droning on and on in a "smarter-than-you" fashion for paragraphs upon confusing, all-over-the-place paragraphs about mere theory (of course, if that's what you're into, nothing wrong with that— you just won't find it here). As Alan Chapman said in Advanced Magick for Beginners, "There are no laws (unless you create them) and there are no secrets (unless you pretend)."
Not only that, but I wish to open discussions with this website. I've stated before that I do not wish to preach— I wish to participate, and learn, just like any reader. That means that if you have your own thoughts and opinions on a topic or something I said, feel free to share where possible, and I will happily take it into account going forward. I do not know everything— I am not an expert, nor do I claim to be one. If I get something wrong, which I am certain will happen inevitably, you are more than welcome to correct me. My goal is to approach every subject with the respect it deserves, and to spread accurate information in good faith.
This website will forever be a continuing WIP, as far as I can tell, and will constantly be updating as I learn, experiment, and find new words to shape my thoughts, the content here will grow and shift alongside me. This front page will serve as an index, with new pages added as they’re created and published. Please be patient, as my passion does not negate for my slowness— but I do hope it makes up for it.
